Born this day in 1912, Danny Thomas Amos (Muzyad Yakhoob Kairouz, later anglicized to Amos Jacobs Kairouz), Deerfield, Michigan nightclub comedian, television and film actor, best known for TV’s Make Room For Daddy. He died 02/06/1991 of heart failure at age 79.
